California's Bipartisan Business Voice

Inside the Capitol - HOT ISSUES THIS WEEKGrassroots Action Center - Get involved in the issues that affect business, jobs, and the economy, and quickly contact your elected officials.Grassroots action by affected individuals making their views known to members of the Legislature and other policymakers is extremely effective.

We encourage letters, e-mails, personal calls and visits to your legislators. Contact from a constituent heightens interest in a bill like no other communication.

The mission of CalChamber Grassroots is to mobilize an effective and efficient group of business leaders willing to create more opportunities to present their views on public policy issues that affect their ability to do business, create jobs and be competitive in a global economy. We will strive to organize and activate businesses throughout the state with the common goal of building a stronger California.

Influencing legislation may also require influencing people other than members of the state Legislature. It may require influencing respected associates or other constitutional officers.

Read and act on highlighted legislation and regulations where you can make a difference this week at Inside the Capitol

Your letters do make a difference on proposed laws.
